Job Description:
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain quality control metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality assurance objectives to monitor and improve project quality.
- Lead and manage a team of quality control engineers and inspectors, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure consistent and effective execution of quality control activities.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to identify quality issues, non-conformances, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to address quality-related concerns, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with third-party testing laboratories and certification agencies to perform material testing, quality audits, and inspections as required by regulatory requirements and project specifications.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation and records, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports, are accurately maintained and archived for future reference.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams on quality control requirements, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to assess project quality performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- B.E./Diploma with a minimum of 12 years experience preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, construction materials, testing methods, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve quality objectives and goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in quality control software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to ensuring quality and compliance on construction projects.
