Job Brief:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and budgetary requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Assist in the management of project budgets and expenses, tracking costs, analyzing variances, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address project-related issues, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams on-site, resolving technical issues, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • B.E./Diploma (Civil) with a minimum of 7 years experience preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices, with a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
