Job Brief:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation processes, including conducting new hire orientations, preparing new hire paperwork, and facilitating training sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution or escalation to HR management as needed.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions, and assist in the development of performance improvement plans as needed.
- Assist in HR reporting and analytics, compiling and analyzing data on key HR metrics and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Stay informed of relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- MBA (HR) with a minimum of 3 years experience preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer service-oriented approach to HR support.
