Job Description:

  • Identify and research potential clients, markets, and industry sectors for business development opportunities, leveraging online resources, networking events, and industry publications.
  • Prospect and cold call potential clients to introduce our company’s products and services, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for senior business development team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing timely and accurate information about our products and services.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of working with our company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs and objectives.
  • Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales pipeline.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and market shifts, adjusting sales strategies as needed.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance metrics, and market trends for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • PG with a minimum of 5 years experience preferably in the construction industry. 
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales deals.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools and technology.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed to meet with clients, attend networking events, and participate in business development activities.
