Job Brief:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals, driving business growth and expansion in target markets.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development executives, providing guidance, support, and training to maximize their performance and productivity.
- Identify and prioritize key market segments and industry sectors for business development efforts, conducting market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, representing the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance brand awareness and visibility in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify emerging opportunities and market shifts, adjusting business development strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Graduate with a minimum of 7 years experience preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the construction industry or related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools and technology.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in business development activities.
