Job Brief:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as alignment with company culture and values.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process, working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, and facilitate the interview and selection process.
  • Develop and implement employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies and support career growth and advancement.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  • Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, morale, and retention, including employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and other employee-focused initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and benefits enrollment, to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement workforce planning strategies, succession planning, and talent management initiatives to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in HR management, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the HR function.

Qualifications:

  • MBA (HR) with a minimum of 7 years experience preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of success in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to translate HR metrics and data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other HR technology tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism.
