For the Jaipur National University Hospital Building, Dhinwa Construction was selected to manage the critical planning and civil construction phases[cite: 385, 387]. Spanning 2,00,000 sq. ft., this project required laying a flawless structural foundation to support a state-of-the-art medical facility[cite: 388].

Unlike turnkey projects, our specific mandate here was to deliver an uncompromising structural "bare-shell" that met strict tolerances. The heavy-duty RCC framework had to be precisely engineered to accommodate future installations of complex medical equipment, wide hospital corridors, and specialized load-bearing zones.

Through disciplined resource management and our in-house batch mix infrastructure, we delivered a resilient, high-quality civil structure within an active university campus, paving the way for the hospital's final commissioning.

Site Mobilisation & Safety Setup
Established secure site perimeters within the active JNU campus. Mobilized heavy machinery, set up the in-house concrete batching plant, and completed deep earthworks.

Excavation & Deep Foundations
Executed complex excavation with proper shoring to protect adjacent structures. Poured the main raft foundations and basement retaining walls to support the hospital's heavy static loads.

Core Superstructure Execution
Continuous vertical construction of the RCC framework. Special attention was given to large-span beams for wide hospital corridors and heavy-duty slabs for diagnostic equipment zones.

Masonry & Core Plastering
With the superstructure in place, rapid deployment of blockwork divided the floorplates into wards, OTs, and OPDs. Internal and external core plastering commenced alongside waterproofing.

Challenge
Heavy-Load Bearing Requirements
Hospital buildings house immensely heavy equipment like MRI machines, CT scanners, and centralized HVAC chillers, requiring a structural backbone far stronger than standard commercial buildings.
Our Solution
We utilized high-grade M40 and M50 concrete mixes from our in-house batch plant. The structural detailing included heavily reinforced floor slabs and specialized vibration-isolating foundations for diagnostic zones.

Challenge
Strict Dimensional Tolerances
Because a separate agency would handle the highly complex medical MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), our structural cutouts, core shafts, and floor heights had to be perfectly accurate to avoid clashes later.
Our Solution
We employed advanced laser surveying tools and system formwork to guarantee plumb lines and slab levels. All MEP core cutouts were pre-planned and cast directly into the concrete, eliminating the need for post-cast drilling.

Challenge
Construction in an Active Campus
Executing heavy civil engineering—with constant concrete truck movement and crane operations—within a functioning university campus posed major noise, dust, and safety risks to students.
Our Solution
We implemented strict logistics windows, scheduling heavy material deliveries during off-peak hours. The site was fully enclosed with acoustic and dust-suppression barricading to ensure zero disruption to academic activities.

Challenge
Deep Excavation Safety
The requirement for a deep basement within close proximity to existing campus roads and structures created a risk of soil collapse during the initial excavation phase.
Our Solution
We engineered and installed robust shoring and retaining wall systems before commencing full depth excavation. Continuous sub-soil water pumping was maintained to keep the foundation bed dry and stable.
